Imagine growing up not knowing what a family is, not having the sense of belonging, or the emotional support that being part of one provides. Families are a source of comfort, warmth and nurturing, protection and security. If children are denied this love and respect their chances in life are dramatically reduced.

At Good Faith Charity Foundation we believe that, above all else, every child should grow up within a caring family.

Across Africa, HIV/AIDS and war have decimated entire communities, leaving many children living alone and facing a bleak future. Even families supported by an adult are vulnerable and struggle to cope when faced with illness or poverty.

Our Active
Family Support Model is a radically different way of supporting children in extreme circumstances, enabling them to experience a fulfilling family life and be fully integrated into their communities. Research has shown that ‘one size fits all’ is not a successful approach to international development. Instead, we tailor our support to cater for individual needs in five integrated areas – living conditions, family and social relationships, education, physical and mental health and household economy.

Additionally, as part of our work, we have created the tools to enable us to target those in greatest need, accurately assess their circumstances and support them in the most effective way.

Importantly, we do not work in isolation; children, families and communities are proactive partners. This enables them to have control over their future and help create solutions that lead to self-sufficiency.

Adoption Corner

For those who do not know the concept of adoption. Adoption is a process whereby a person assumes the parenting for another who is not kin and, in so doing, permanently transfers all rights and responsibilities from the original parent or parents. Unlike guardianship or other systems designed for the care of the young, adoption is intended to effect a permanent change in status and as such requires societal recognition, either through legal or religious sanction. Historically some societies have enacted specific laws governing adoption whereas others have endeavored to achieve adoption through less formal means, notably via contracts that specified inheritance rights and parental responsibilities. Modern systems of adoption, arising in the 20th century, tend to be governed by comprehensive statutes and regulations.

How We Adopt
Adoption from our foundation is simple and comprehensive as in most other organizations in the world. Considering the high rate of child demand in the world today and the very much expensive adoption process in most countries, our foundation has made it possible to successfully adopt a child at a very low and considerable rate compare to countries like USA. We have an adoption councilor and a Rev. Father who are all in charge of the adoption process and will provide  you with relevant information on the process in our Foundation. All you need to do is go to our the CONTACT US page on our website and contact them through the phone numbers and/or email addresses and you will get all the process of adoption from our Foundation. Lets join hands together and provide a secure and loving environment to destitute children around the world.
